FAQ

Will I receive a charity receipt for my donation?

Cowichan Valley Basket Society is a registered charity with CRA and will issue an annual receipt for your donation in February of each year. If you need a receipt earlier or have lost it, please contact the office and we will assist you.

Can I get a Christmas Hamper?

Cowichan Valley Basket Society does not give out an extra or special hamper in December for Christmas. If you need a hamper at any time, please contact the office. Hampers are available all year round, once every 30 days. The Salvation Army offers Christmas Hampers.

Can I donate produce from my garden?

Yes, CVBS accepts donations of produce from your garden. Please deliver to the rear of the centre in the alley off James Street.

What is SUNDAY SANDWICHES?

Sunday Sandwiches is a program we support and provides a great lunch from 12 noon to 1 pm on Sundays and Holidays in the CVBS backyard. More info

Do you deliver food hampers?

At this time, we do not deliver hampers. If you are unable to manage to get your food hamper home please ask us if we can help.

What are hamper days?

Hamper days are Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. 9:50 am to 12:30 pm and Saturday by special arrangement for families who work during the week.
